Most of rally-raids fans must have already found the results of today's Super Special stage, either on our web-site, or on the site of the Baja's organisers. But there's a story behind those numbers in the classification...
The third round of the FIA International Cup for Cross-Country Bajas - Baja Espana - has officially started. On the superspecial stage which opened the race on Friday evening, the G-Force Motorsport crew of Boris Gadasin/Vladimir Demaynenko set 6th time, 13.2 seconds behind Stephane Peterhansel who won the stage.
The administrative checks and scrutineering were held this morning at the Motorpark stadium near the city of Alcaniz, 100 kilometres away from Zaragoza. Later today a gravel track situated close to this big centre will host the Super Special Stage of the Aragon Baja.
G-Force Motorsport approached Thursday as the final opportunity before the race to fine-tune the Proto car and get used to the hot Spanish climate.
Today was the first full day of the G-Force Motorsport team in Spain. And the first day to get used to the gruelling weather conditions...
Preparations to the Spanish Baja started just after the previous round - Italian Baja - had concluded. Having won the Italian competition, the team started off the next step in modifying the G-Force Proto car which they first tested on an event in Portugal.
The third round of the FIA International Cup for Cross-Country Bajas - Baja Espana Aragon'09 - will be held in Spain on July 23rd-26th. G-Force Motorsport crew Boris Gadasin/Vladimir Demyanenko takes part in this race under start number 1.
A press-conference, devoted to the third round of the Russian Cross-Country Championship - "Khazar Steppes 2009" - was held today at the Moscow "President Hotel".
Rally Pskov 2009, the 10th event in the Russian Rally Cup, concluded. The overall victory went to the crew of Janis Vorobjevs and Alexander Gorlanov (start number 3), while G-Force Motorsport leaders, despite some difficulties with the car, finished the race 3rd in the 4000H category.Start11121314151617181920Next End
