The third round of the FIA International Cup for Cross-Country Bajas - Baja Espana - has officially started. On the superspecial stage which opened the race on Friday evening, the G-Force Motorsport crew of Boris Gadasin/Vladimir Demaynenko set 6th time, 13.2 seconds behind Stephane Peterhansel who won the stage.

The administrative checks and scrutineering were held this morning at the Motorpark stadium near the city of Alcaniz, 100 kilometres away from Zaragoza. Later today a gravel track situated close to this big centre will host the Super Special Stage of the Aragon Baja.

Preparations to the Spanish Baja started just after the previous round - Italian Baja - had concluded. Having won the Italian competition, the team started off the next step in modifying the G-Force Proto car which they first tested on an event in Portugal.

Rally Pskov 2009, the 10th event in the Russian Rally Cup, concluded. The overall victory went to the crew of Janis Vorobjevs and Alexander Gorlanov (start number 3), while G-Force Motorsport leaders, despite some difficulties with the car, finished the race 3rd in the 4000H category.
