Boris Gadasin and Vladimir Demyanenko started the rally at a good pace, but unfortunately the front brake disks on their Lancer EvoVI cracked on the second stage, and the crew had to fight more with the car than with their rivals. However, after the service Boris kept on pushing and recovered well by the end of the rally. Thrice on the last special stages he was second fastest in the 4000H category, and this effort brought him to the podium.

The winner of the rally became the guest from Latvia Yanis Vorobjevs, assisted by the local man with huge experience Alexander Gorlanov. Full results are available from the  official web-site of the rally "Red Plows 2009".
