Hungarian Baja 2009. Scrutineering.
Friday, 21 August 2009 15:02
Administrative checks and technical scrutineering of the Hungarian Baja 2009 concluded this morning, having started for most of the crews yesterday.
Today the crews from the top of the entry list passed the checks, and among them was seeded 1st the crew of G-Force Motorsport Boris Gadasin and Vladimir Demyanenko. As the leader of the series, Boris attracted a lot of attention from the media and said to the official press-service that he "was feeling confident ahead of the start of their beautiful race".
After successfully passing all formalities the participants put their cars into the Parc Ferme and went to their hotels to take some rest from the thick and hot air. It is especially important now that the ceremonial start and the first special stage await them this evening.
We want to pay a special attention to the good luck of organisers in choosing a wonderful place for the service park on a green hill lit by sunlights and grown with pine-woods and fir-trees, the cones of which lie on narrow stony roads crossing the hill in various directions. No wonder that local environmental groups tried to protect the beautiful place by some limitations like not washing cars in the service area. And we fully support them in their decision.
